Shoprite Customer Service Agent - Daily Job Updates

Giving our customers the greatest possible customer service experience is the goal of the customer service agent position. This position will respond to inquiries, handle any new issues that arise, and accurately and quickly provide our clients with information about our products and services. 

This position is essential to the company's front-line customer service team since it makes sure that customers' needs are handled promptly, compassionately, and understandingly. To create an amazing customer experience in a setting where team expertise is shared, the customer service agent makes sure that client calls and issues are appropriately taken into consideration, recorded on the system, and addressed.

This role's working hours are a 45-hour work week scheduled by a planned weekly schedule (any five days from Monday to Sunday (shift work), including public holidays) within legal requirements. This is to ensure that we optimize our service delivery to our customers and align with our teams.

Qualifications:

  •  Grade 12 / Matric - (essential)
  • Degree/Diploma or Courses in Communications or a related field - (Beneficial)

Experience: 
 
+1 year’s experience in a Customer Services environment or similar role – (CRUCIAL). 

Strong KNOWLEDGE in Microsoft Office 365, including SharePoint Online – (CRUCIAL).
Experience in a retail/contact center environment – (desired).
