He recently penned a touching birthday message for his “step-daughter,” Kairo Forbes, on her ninth birthday. Murdah Bongz has earned praise for his exceptional role as a step-parent to Kairo, expressing his deep affection and the joy she brings into his life.

Kairo's biological father, Kiernan “AKA” Forbes, was tragically shot and killed outside Wish Restaurant on Florida Road on February 10, 2023. In his tribute, Murdah Bongz highlighted the strong bond they've developed as a family, showcasing his heartfelt dedication to Kairo.

Zinhle wrote, “My baby is 9 👑 Happy Birthday @KairoForbes, the sweetest lady baby I know 😜, the best big sister & most talented girl.
