Chiefs R60 Million Deal Slips Away, Key Players Involved Set To REMAIN In The Club

Ashley du Preez and Edson Castillo are reportedly close to agreeing on a transfer fee of R60 million, but Kaizer Chiefs might not be involved in the transaction. It would indicate that both players are content to remain under new coach Nasreddine Nabi.

Despite the club's initial intention to sell them to generate funds for future acquisitions. Chiefs wanted R30 million for Du Preez, while Vitoria SC of Portugal offered R20 million.
With Chiefs estimating him at R40 million (later dropped to R30 million).

Castillo was allegedly of interest to the Egyptian club Zamalek.
Now that both players appear to have settled in and are actively participating with the squad, it's doubtful that any sales will take place. As a result, the Chiefs will not be able to bolster their team with the R60 million that was available. (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});
